About Picture Lab

Picture Lab — Picture Lab is your creative workspace for generating images. You can craft visuals using prompts, fine-tune them with visual settings, and leverage consistency tools to precisely control the identity of your characters and objects.

How It Works

  1. Select a Generation Model — Choose from Flux, ChatGPT Image, and other models, depending on your specific needs.
  2. Craft Your Prompt — Either manually enter a text prompt, select an avatar from your library, or build your description using the visual character prompt generator.
  3. Adjust Image Parameters — Select the aspect ratio, visual style, location, and camera angle for your image.
  4. Apply Consistency Tools (Optional) — Use these tools if you need a stable character appearance or want to transfer specific looks.
  5. Generate Your Image — Your result will appear within seconds and will be automatically saved to your History and My Assets.

Key Features

User-Friendly Interface

Model Switching — Select Flux, ChatGPT Image, or other available models to match your goal — whether it’s portraits, scenes, objects, or concepts.

Batch Generation — Launch multiple variations with different settings all at once.

History & Saves — All your creations are saved in History and My Assets for quick access and reuse.

Avatar Library

Avatar Library — Use a pre-made AI avatar or create your very own personalized AI avatar.

Refine Your Avatar — When you pick an avatar, check these options:

  • Location — Define the setting (e.g., office, street, interior).
  • Frame — Control the shot composition (e.g., close-up, mid-shot, full body).

Consistency Tools

Clone Identity — Upload your own photos to create a unique AI avatar while preserving your specific features and identity.

Flux Kontext — Transfer objects and characters between scenes, or edit images while maintaining their original structure.

Character Prompt Generator

  1. Design your character using an easy, visual interface.
  2. Select gender, age, appearance, pose, background, lighting, and more.
  3. The system will automatically assemble the prompt for you — no manual typing required.

Advanced Settings

Aspect Ratio — Set your desired aspect ratio for the image.

Visual Style — Select a generation style that best suits the desired aesthetic or project requirements.

Visual Style Comparison

Visual StyleBest For
PortraitIdeal for UGC (User-Generated Content) and photorealistic generations. This style excels with both people and environments (exteriors and interiors), focusing on detailed realism.
CinematicDesigned for generating cinematic shots. Not suitable for amateur-style content. This style aims to create stylized, film-like generations with strong color correction and film effects.
FashionBest suited for generating people. It performs exceptionally well with accessories, clothing, and producing characters with well-defined, detailed skin, although it struggles with generating interiors and exteriors. Recommended for creating stylized “photoshoots”.

Getting Started

For Beginners

  • Start with the Flux model for stable, realistic portraits.
  • Keep prompts simple, like woman in an office, daylight.
  • Choose a pre-made avatar from the Avatar Library, then pick a Location and Frame.
  • Visually construct your prompts with the Prompt Generator – no typing needed!

For Experienced Users

  • Need exact likeness and consistency across shots? Use Clone Identity.
  • Want to move characters or objects to new scenes while keeping their look and composition? Use Flux Kontext.
  • See how different models perform by switching between Flux and ChatGPT Image.
  • Mix text prompts with visual settings like frame, style, and avatar choices.

Best Practices

  1. Keep prompts short and clear: Opt for “girl in a red coat, evening, neon” rather than a lengthy description with many objects.
  2. For consistent likeness, always use Clone Identity or Flux Kontext.
  3. For portraits and realism,  Flux (fine-tuned) performs best.
  4. For scenes not requiring high photorealism, or for faster generation, ChatGPT Image is a better choice.
  5. When creating an AI avatar with Clone Identity, use 10-15 photos of the same person.
Ensure these photos feature different facial expressions, good lighting, no shadows, filters, glasses, or headwear, and avoid noisy backgrounds. Shots with even lighting and a neutral background yield the best results.

Use Cases

  • Product Redesign — Updated visuals for packaging and branding.
  • Character Creation — AI-generated images for videos, storytelling, and animation.
  • Background Generation — Scenes and environments for videos, presentations, or landing pages.
  • Photo Styling — Artistic covers, photoshoots, and creative filters.
  • Detail Modification — Swapping out clothing, objects, and backgrounds within an image.
