Straight Down A Spiral Stair

Straight-down view into the open well of a stone spiral staircase inside an old Spanish mission tower. The staircase coils away from the lens in tight receding turns — worn limestone treads, a heavy timber handrail, thick whitewashed inner column — spiralling down to a small dark point at the bottom of the frame center. Strict vertical symmetry, extreme perspective compression, wide lens, f/8, everything sharp from near rail to distant floor. One hard shaft of light drops from a lantern opening above, striking the upper treads and the curved wall, falling off gently as it descends — no darkening at the frame edges, no vignette.
