Video from Two Frames with LTX 2.3

Two images of the same object, generated in different scenes, give a video something more precise to work from than a text prompt alone. This lesson anchors an LTX 2.3 generation to a start frame and an end frame and prompts the motion that connects them — the technique behind keeping an object from drifting across a clip.

Two frames instead of one

Take two images of the same object generated in different scenes — for example, the can shots from the previous lesson. Instead of describing a new scene from scratch, anchor a video to exactly these two points: where it starts, and where it ends. That's what keeps the object from drifting across the clip.

Set the Start Frame and End Frame

Open Cinema Motion. The model is already set to LTX 2.3, the video model available on the Free plan. Add the first scene as Start Frame and the second scene as End Frame — everything the video does happens between these two points.

Set duration and resolution

Below the frames, set duration and resolution. Match them to what you actually need — 5 seconds at 720p is enough for a first pass.

Prompt the motion, not the frames

Don't describe frame one and frame two separately — describe what happens between them: how the camera moves, what changes in the environment, whether it's a smooth glide or a hard cut. Mentioning the object again, even with both frames locked in, helps keep it anchored through the motion.

Try this prompt

The camera stays still while the beach around the can dissolves into the new coastline, the light shifting from midday to sunset. The can — orange and turquoise, WAVE printed on the label — stays fixed in frame throughout the transition.

If you don't say how to get from one frame to the other, the model has to guess — and guessing is exactly where an object starts to drift.

Generate and review

Click Generate. The result is one continuous motion from the first scene to the second, with the object unchanged throughout. From here it's the same as any other result: add it to favorites, download it, or apply Lip Sync if the next step needs a character to speak.
